Tajikistan and Iran to Introduce Visa-Free Travel for Passport Holders.
Starting August 10, 2024, Tajikistan and Iran will implement a visa-free regime for holders of general-purpose foreign passports. This development follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement allows civil passport holders from both nations to visit each other’s territory without a visa. This visa-free period will last for 30 days within a 90-day timeframe from the date of the first entry.
Initially, this visa-free system will apply only to travelers using air services on the Dushanbe-Tehran and Tehran-Dushanbe routes.
