MINSK, 5 August (BelTA) – Since 1 January 2024, nearly 132,000 foreign nationals have visited Belarus without needing visas, according to the State Border Committee.
Since expanding its visa waiver program, Belarus has welcomed 12,268 visitors from Europe. This includes citizens of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and non-citizens of Latvia. Additionally, 1,027 visitors from other European countries, such as Germany and Estonia, accounted for 8% of the total number of visitors, with 418 from Germany and 196 from Estonia.
Overall, Belarus has hosted 131,812 visitors from the EU since the beginning of 2024, and a total of 932,418 since the visa waiver program began.
