The government of Thailand has officially granted visa-free access to citizens of Kazakhstan, a decision that will remain in effect indefinitely, as reported by Azernews, referencing foreign media and the Thai Cabinet of Ministers.
This move follows a pilot project implemented in September of the previous year, during which individuals holding Kazakh passports were exempted from the visa requirement. Subsequently, the visa-free arrangement for Kazakh citizens has been established without any specified time constraints.
Statistics from the Thai Tourism Council indicate that in the preceding year, 172,000 individuals from Kazakhstan traveled to Thailand. Projections suggest that by the conclusion of the current year, this figure is anticipated to surpass 220,000.
