The Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced that the agreement on mutual visa recognition between Belarus and Russia officially came into effect on Saturday.
According to the terms of the agreement, foreign citizens and stateless individuals holding a valid visa from either Belarus or Russia, along with an identity document recognized by both nations, are now authorized to enter, leave, stay, and transit through the territories of both countries for the duration of their visa.
However, both Belarus and Russia maintain the right to deny entry or shorten the stay of any foreign citizen or stateless person within their territories. Additionally, both countries reserve the authority to ensure compliance with regulations governing entry, exit, transit, and stay.
