JACKSON, Wyo. — In the wake of the national election, immigrants and their families are facing uncertainty about potential policy shifts over the next four years.
To help address these concerns, the Wyoming Immigrant Advocacy Project is hosting a free community forum. The event will cover a range of topics, including:
Steps immigrants can take to prepare for potential policy changes
Resources for employers
Immigrant rights during interactions with U.S. Immigration and
Customs Enforcement (ICE)
Emergency assistance options in case of sudden income loss
Coping strategies for post-election anxiety
Ways to support the immigrant community
The forum will take place on Monday, Nov. 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hansen Hall in St. John’s Episcopal Church. The presentation will be in English, with Spanish interpretation available.
