Kyrgyzstan Launches Visa-Free Travel for Chinese Tourist Groups.
BISHKEK – Kyrgyzstan has announced a new visa-free policy for organized tourist groups from China, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce on Thursday.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved this resolution on Monday, modifying the regulations for foreign citizens visiting the country.
Under the new rules, organized tourist groups consisting of five to 25 people can enter Kyrgyzstan without a visa, provided they follow a pre-approved tourist program. These groups can stay in the country for up to 21 days without needing a visa, as long as they possess a return ticket to either their home country or a third destination.
Additionally, tourists can return to Kyrgyzstan without a visa after a 21-day break, the ministry confirmed.
The ministry emphasized that this visa-free policy is designed to enhance cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, promote tourism, and foster economic relationships that benefit both countries.
