Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit to Host 17th Annual National Event.
The Immigrant Entrepreneurs Summit (IES) will hold its 17th annual national summit on November 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny. The event expects to welcome over 800 attendees representing more than 50 countries.
The IES Summit aims to create an inclusive space where diverse businesspeople can exchange experiences, learn from each other, and celebrate the significant contributions of immigrant entrepreneurs to both the economy and society. This year’s summit will feature 21 seminars, an exhibitor hall, a luncheon awards ceremony, and a business pitch competition, where participants have the opportunity to win a $5,000 grant.
Catherine Tran, the executive director of IES, expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “We are excited to bring together such a diverse group of entrepreneurs and business leaders. The summit is a unique opportunity to highlight the incredible achievements of immigrant entrepreneurs and provide them with the tools and connections they need to continue thriving.”
Registration for the summit costs $70.
