Kazakhstan and Macau Establish Visa-Free Travel Agreement.
ASTANA – An agreement between Kazakhstan and Macau, a special administrative region of China, to exempt each other from visa requirements came into effect on October 24, according to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s press service.
This new agreement allows citizens of both regions to enter, exit, transit, and stay in each other’s territories without a visa for up to 14 days. However, the visa-free travel does not apply to work, study, or permanent residency.
Travelers planning to stay in Macau for more than 14 days will need to obtain the appropriate visa in advance.
