U.S. Embassy in the Philippines Announces Visa Application Center and New Services.
Manila, September 6, 2024—Starting September 28, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines will unveil a new Visa Application Center (VAC), update its visa appointment system, and expand call center services for U.S. citizens residing in the country.
The new VAC will be situated at Parqal Building 8, Level 3, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City. Beginning on September 28, all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants must book a separate appointment at the VAC for photo capture and fingerprint scanning before their scheduled interview at the U.S. Embassy on Roxas Boulevard. This process will be facilitated through the newly redesigned online appointment system.
Visa interviews scheduled before September 28 will remain unaffected. Applicants with appointments prior to this date should proceed directly to the U.S. Embassy.
The updated online appointment system, launching on September 28 at ustraveldocs.com/ph, promises a secure and user-friendly experience. Applicants with existing accounts in the current system must log into the new system using their registered email addresses to access their profiles, including payment receipts and appointment details.
The VAC will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays. No appointment is necessary for passport pickups or dropping off interview waiver visa applications and required documents, which can be done from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
