Hong Kong — The Hong Kong Immigration Department has been recognized with the prestigious 2025 Skytrax Award for Best Airport Immigration Service, marking the fifth time the department has earned this honor. The award was presented as part of the World Passenger Survey conducted by Skytrax.
This victory follows previous wins in 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2020, solidifying Hong Kong’s reputation as a leader in airport immigration services.
Benson Kwok, the Director of Immigration, attended the award ceremony in Madrid, Spain, on April 9. During the event, Kwok emphasized the department’s commitment to continuous improvement. “We will continue to strive for excellence by adopting innovative technologies to enhance passenger facilitation measures and deliver top-tier immigration services,” Kwok said. He further highlighted that these efforts are aimed at strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a global aviation hub while supporting the city’s overall development.
